Denise Boehm – President

Residing in Melbourne, Florida, Denise has over 20 years of experience as a consultant, designing and delivering organizational change initiatives in sales, service, operations measurement, and organizational development.  She is currently pursuing her lifelong dream as a bodywork therapist and a holistic health consultant.

Dr. Rodney Stiefbold – Vice President

Rod lends his time as Director to CTW after an extensive background in marketing and consulting.  He was the founder of Carpe Diem Consultants, Inc. and is currently freelance consulting in several capacities.  He brings a myriad of experience with a special interest in conservation.  Rod has served on several high ranking foreign policy committees in his lifetime.


Edward Exson – Director

As a long term resident of Jacksonville, Florida, Edward blesses the CTW board with words of wisdom and guidance from his varied life experiences, a retired railroad Dining Car Steward and a US Army veteran.  He is now a community leader and activist currently serving on several non profit boards.  Edward has eloquently blessed most of all our board meetings since our inception with his graceful invocations which have been published in a booklet also posted on this site.


Laura Rusak – Treasurer

Laura has been involved with CTW since its inception bringing her exceptional energy early on as an advisory board participant and later as a full time volunteer Board Member.  Laura has a diverse background in real estate investing, home maintenance and repair, and is a new grandmother of Kenny Jr.


Robert Flowers – Director

As a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and retired school teacher of 33 years, Mr. Flowers brings an impressive educational background and record of participation in community development in the State of Florida to the CTW Board.  He is currently founder and President of the Jacksonville Gullah Geechee Nation Community Development Organization (JGGNCDC). JGGNCDC, a corporation dedicated to historical preservation and development in Jacksonville, Florida. JGGNCDC provides educational information to the public on African American History, Life, Heritage and Culture.


Saundra Morene – Director 

Saundra Robinson Morene is a graduate of Florida A and M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.  A native of Jacksonville, Fl, she serves as Vice President of Jacksonville Gullah Geechee Nation Community Development Corp.    Saundra began working in the community at the age of 14 with the Jacksonville Urban League.  She’s also a Master Gardner.


Allyson Holley – Secretary

Allyson comes to the CTW board with a MA in special education and reading as well as a degree in sociology.  Originally from Maryland, she has been a reading specialist and special education teacher for more than 15 years.  Living in Brevard County for the last several years, she’s enjoyed a variety of duties in various organizations.  She’s also worked as a volunteer counselor in Brevard County.  Allyson has also tirelessly assisted CTW to implement a health insurance program companywide.


Toni McCollum – Director

Toni, a long time resident of Brevard County currently works as the Branch Office Administrator at Edward Jones Investments. She brings years of administrative skills with a variety of organizations to utilize on CTW’s Board.  She has served as a volunteer on other nonprofit boards and is excited to be part of our team.

Thank you to the current Board of Directors for their dedication and endless hours of volunteer service to launch and sustain this program as well as former Board Members who were instrumental in our start up. It’s been 8 years and thanks for hanging in there to see this endeavor succeed.
